I am a landscape and nature photographer based in Cincinnati, Ohio, USA. Exploring nature and recording my experiences through photography is my passion. Every natural area is unique with its own characteristic plants, animal inhabitants and seasonal visitors. My goal is to find the beauty in these spaces and bring them to the attention of the viewer. My photographic journey has taught me to be more observant of our natural world and take note of the details that may be hidden from casual observation. As a resident of southwest Ohio, my local area lacks the “big” natural landscapes of the west or the Appalachians further to the east. But while we lack big image opportunity, we are more than rewarded by small landscape scenes and an abundance of wildlife. I shoot local, often in my own backyard, local parks and nature centers, capturing the details that are presented by each season. I hope you enjoy the images presented in this on-line portfolio.
